GENERAL INFORMATION & PRE-APPLICATION REVIEWS
To lease space as a start-up at the PSBA, companies must meet entrance criteria. High-priority candidates are those from the following industry clusters: bioscience, biotechnology, medical devices, green science and green technology. We also accept information technology companies (either hardware or software).

APPLICATION CRITERIA
The PSBA leases space to technology companies that want to be part of an entrepreneurial start-up community. Companies that meet the following criteria are encouraged to apply for space.
- Company is a start-up within its first five years.
- Company is an innovative technology product company with a definable, potentially large market and a significant competitive advantage based on its technology innovation. Preference is given to companies in the industries of green technology/sustainability, information technology/software and bioscience.
- Company has a founding team that has strong technology development skills, experience with relevant markets, and knowledge of sound business management practices. Team's knowledge and expertise can be supplemented by advisors or directors.
- Company has development needs that can be addressed by programs offered through the Accelerator.
- Company has either (a) an existing relationship with PSU, or (b) the desire to create a relationship. Typical relationships include: use of student interns, participation in the Lab2Market or other entrepreneurship programs, or use of student project teams to work on company development issues. High-impact linkages include faculty research collaborations and joint development agreements.
