The PSBA is a 40,000 SF business incubator/accelerator that provides space for up to 25 companies ranging from one-person to 30-person operations. If you're a tenant here, we help you accelerate your path to success by keeping facility costs low and by providing no-cost business assistance from community partners as well as University support such as MBA project teams. We also provide great flexibility in lease terms and the ability to expand your office space as your company grows.

Current Spaces Available 

  • Lab Space
    • Lab 114: $1,069/mon for 610 SF basic lab with sink, 220 power, secure access, storage room. 
    • Four wet labs with fume hoods available Q3 2010: SF ranges from 170 SF to 350 SF for private, lockable labs around a central shared lab with equipment. Taking applications now. For more info: 503-725-2313.
  • Small Offices (150 SF - 999 SF)
    • 140C: $452/mon, 255 SF, furnished with two desks & chairs. Includes storage room.
  • Mid-Size Offices (1,000 SF - 1,999 SF)
    • Office 130: $1,886/mon, 1,190 SF, furnished with low-walled workstations and one cubicle with door, seats 10.
  • Large Offices(2,000 SF - 3,500 SF) 
    • Suite 140: $3,325/mon, 2,200SF, furnished with 11 large cubicles and an open area that could be converted to product set-up, conference area, bull pen or other uses. Will build up to two private offices if desired. 

APPLICATION REQUIRED

To lease space as a start-up at the PSBA, companies must meet entrance criteria of being a high tech, green tech or biotech/bioscience company.   • Competitive lease rates: PSBA prices below average market rates for Class B office and lab space in downtown Portland. Monthly rates include high-speed internet access, server room rack space, janitorial service, utilities, furnishings, and use of all common areas.
  • Furnished offices: workstations, desks, chairs in all spaces
  • Multiple meetings rooms and kitchens: There are four conference/meeting rooms available through an online reservation system. Also four kitchens and two break rooms, plus bathrooms on all floors.
  • Multiple programs to help support your business. University Linkages and Investor Readiness Program, in addition to other no-cost programs.
  • Great amenities that help your company control costs that are not typically included in commercial leases
    • Free, unlimited internet access via a 20 Mb channel
    • Highly discounted, on-site parking ($25 per month per permit)
